Scaling a photo


If the picture has not been scaled before, the Picture scaling window will appear:

While scaling, a marker will appear on the photo:

Drag both its ends to the points corresponding to the beginning and the end of the 3cm scale mark (or another, if the user changed it in the left panel). An alternative way is to click on the photo on the start and end rulers of the ruler – the marker ends automatically.

On some computers – e.g. with enlarged system text – the marker may not be displayed. In this case, set it by clicking on the start and end points of the cephalometric image scale.

Once scaled, the photo will not have to be scaled again – the Orthodontics program will save the scaling settings (but not the exact position of the markers).
