Adding DICOMDIR files

DICOM files in the Orthodontics program are treated like photos – so adding them is done similarly to ordinary photos.

To open the DICOMDIR folder, you must indicate the folder in which it is located (usually a CD drive in the case of pictures from the RTG studio). To do this, select File and then Import photos from the DICOMDIR … folder.

Next, the next window will show a list of patients who are contained in the DICOMDIR folder – search for the desired patient from the list and confirm with the Import button.
